Yahoo Group
Just a reminder that if you are looking for a substitute or are looking to play
more join Timberhill's Yahoo Group to network with other Timberhill members.
Members who join this group will be able to send out a single email when looking
for a match, to locate a Sub, put together a team, or just generally share tennis
info. It will appear in the computer inbox of all other TTC members who have
joined the group. (you do not need a yahoo email address to participate.)
You can join at
http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/TimberhillTennis/ - please indicate that
you are a member of Timberhill.
Sign -IN
ALL players who play at Timberhill must sign in on the sign in sheet!! Even
if you have not reserved a court, or are here for Men's night you must sign
in. The Board makes decisions based on information like how busy the courts
are, etc. Also required for all players is to sign up if you use the ball machine
or bring a guest. Failure to do so may result in being charged double. Just
make it a habit to come up to the clubhouse and put your name on the sign up
sheet so we know how busy the courts are.
Election Results
The election results for the TTC Board of Directors election is in. After a
hotly contested campaign the three people joining the TTC board will be Clay
Higgins, Mark Koenig and Steve Kearsley. We are pleased to announce the addition
of these three very qualified individuals and we look forward to having their
input in shaping Timberhill.
Locker Policy
We have run out of lockers and we need to put some controls on them. If you
store items in your locker then we need to know what locker you have and we
will give you a combination lock to put on your existing locker. Please let
Gary know what locker number you have and he will give you a lock to replace
your existing lock. Timberhill will then charge each member who keeps a lock
an annual fee of $24 ($2 per month) to store racquets, clothes, etc. You may
however when you play bring a lock and use whatever lockers are available for
the hour or so you are playing.
2010 TTC Directory
We are currently trying to update member's information for the 2010 TTC Directory.
We have put out a draft copy on the table in the clubhouse and are asking you
to check out your information listed in the draft copy. We are also asking you
make any changes, additions, subtractions directly to the draft copy, or if
all the info is correct just put a check mark by your name so we know that you
have looked at it. We are hopefully taking it to print by the middle of December
and publish it by the first week of Jan.
